🐾 Intermediate Scentwork – Building Better Searches This 5-week course is for dogs already trained on an odour who are ready to progress further. It’s a step on from the beginner course and focuses on developing more independent searching, improving your handling, and helping you better understand what your dog is telling you. We’ll start to move away from simple setups and introduce more realistic search challenges—along with the skills needed to handle them properly. 🐾 Over the 5 weeks we’ll work on: • More complex hides (including buried and inaccessible) • Building independent, confident searches • Line handling and handler movement • Reading your dog more accurately • Single blind searches (where you don’t know the hide) • Working across different environments ●Small group (max 4 dogs), with dogs worked individually where needed to keep things calm and focused. ●Reactive dogs are welcome, and sessions are structured to give each team space to work. By the end, you’ll feel more confident handling your dog in a search—and much clearer on when to step in… and when to let them work things out.
